The BPSEF is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Your donation is tax deductible on both your state and federal income tax returns. In 2011, the Idaho income tax credit for educational donations increased to 50% of the contribution, limited to a maximum credit of $1,000 and 50% of a tax-payer’s total Idaho income tax liability. The chart below features some examples of income tax savings and credits for specific contribution amounts when Idaho state and federal tax credits and savings are applied.
