Establish a Fundraiser
A principal, teacher, athletic director, PTO/PTA/Booster
Club, school-sponsored club, or school-affiliated group raising
money for a specific project or program may utilize the Foundation
to insure their funds are managed in a fiscally responsible manner.
The Foundation acts as a fiduciary agent, providing
the following services for classroom/program fundraisers
- Receipt donors.
- Purchase requested materials.
- Provides written transactional history upon request.
- Reduces individual liability.
- Accounts are audited annually.
How to Establish a Fundraising Account
- Review and understand the Fundraiser
Procedures.
- Download and complete a Fundraiser Account Application:

Form must be signed by site administrator to show approval of
fundraiser as well as by the Project Director responsible for
the account.
- Send the completed application to the foundation office. The
Foundation's Executive Director will determine if the fundraiser
event follows procedures.
- The Project Director and the Site Administrator will be notified,
in writing, when the application has been approved or denied.
- If approved, the account will be established.
Advantages of Gifting
Information that must be conveyed to donors
- Solicitation materials must identify the purpose of the fundraiser.
- Donations are non-refundable.
- Donations must be used for specified purpose only.
- Donations may not be made or used for personal gain.
- Donor will receive a contribution receipt from the Foundation.
- Instructions on how to complete the Designated Donation form.
- Donations must be made using the Foundation's Fundraiser Donation
form.
- Donations are to be mailed directly to the Project Director
then submitted by the Project Director to the Foundation office.
